Memorial Day

So, I had bought the kids Fourth of July outfits, but I realized that Hudson was quickly growing and probably would not fit in his outfit come The Fourth of July, so I turned his outfit into a Memorial Day out fit. The shirt that Madison is wearing is one of my favorites! She is so proud of her daddy the Marine and she actually asked to wear this shirt to honor him.
It is hard to get a good picture of a preschooler and an infant, so here is what we were able to get! :)

Runner's World

Alex is in the process of training for the Marine Corps Marathon. I am so very proud of him. A few weeks ago he went to Runner's World and was fitted for custom insoles and he found the perfect shoes to protect his feet during training. We decided while his shoes were on sale to go buy another pair, so that he had a fresh set for the Marathon. Madison went back with Alex on this fun trip and had a blast and they had this fun statue there, that Madison thought was real, until she went to take a picture with it!

Best Baby Sitter Ever!

So, we have found the most wonderful babysitter ever! Her name is Alexis and she is just a dream! On Saturday, Alex and I went to on a date to PF Chang's (Yum) and Alexis came over and watched the kids. This picture is one that she sent us while we were at dinner!

We are so blessed to have Alexis in our lives. She is a great role model for Madison and emulates Christ's love in a way that Madison readily picks up on. When Alexis isn't at our home, Madison talks about her and asks when she can play with her next. Madison really looks up to Alexis and always runs to find her on Sundays, at church!

We look forward to our growing relationship with Alexis and the way she loves on our kids!

Angel Twins

Here is a picture of Madison and Hudson in their matching Angel shirts, making Alex oh so proud! :)

This Guy Loves His Baths

Alex was able to snap a quick picture of Hudson, during a bath last week. Hudson simply LOVES his bath time! He giggles and coos the most during this time, as he kicks his legs like crazy! He is quickly outgrowing his bathtub :)

Auntie Kami Comes for a Visit!

Last week, my "sister" Kami came to visit! I love that she lives so close now! She hadn't seen Hudson since visiting us in the hospital, so it was fun to see her with him. And, of course, Madison was ecstatic to see Auntie Kami. They played in the back yard and Madison was in heaven. They played play-doh, soccer, restaurant, and chase/tag. We can't wait for our next visit with her and hopefully with her boyfriend Ryan as well!

I caught a giggle...

Here is a picture of Hudson giggling.....he loves to laugh!
