I can't believe that it is already the year 2010. I can remember being in Jr. High and people talking about that when 2010 was upon us that we'd be living like the Jetson's. Too bad they were wrong. Would have been fun to fly instead of drive my car.
Anyway, I am very much looking forward to this next year. There are so many exciting things in the air. We are planning on taking our first big family vacation (not sure to where yet). Jaclyn is getting married! Madison will be potty trained (we're fairly close now). Alex turns 30. Madison is going to be 3 and getting ready to start preschool (she's on the waiting list right now). Alex and I will finally know where we'll be for the next few years (we are in the process right now of deciding whether we are getting out, extending in 29 Palms for another year, or moving to a new duty station). Alex and I will have been married 6 years. I will have read several books (I'm currently reading: Lies Women Believe, The Lucky One, Blind Spot, Sacred Marriage, Mastering Your Metabolism, and 365 Days of Love Dare). Alex would kick me if I didn't include that we will finally get to see the resolution to LOST. These are just some of the things we have to look forward to, plus many many more that you can all read about in our blog.
Speaking of our blog, sorry about the lack of posts. Our computer is still dead, but after working with our renter's insurance we now have a new computer and I should be able to keep my posts more up to date. I am going to aim for at least four posts a month (at least one a week). I still have my cooking blog and have been having a lot of fun with that as well. If you have any fun recipes to share, I'd love to post them so that others can enjoy them as well. :)
May 2010 find you happy and filled with more laughter and blessings than you can count!
