For all of you who have been following my crazy search for a job this summer, I have an update:
I GOT A JOB!!!
I am going to be teaching second grade again this year, but at a new school.
I am so excited. I went to my classroom today to begin setting it up. I moved a lot of my furniture around and started to get organized. I'll be busy this week trying to get this all done, but I'm excited about it all!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS! What a bunch of lucky 2nd graders!!
Cool! My kids started in a brand new school this year (just built) and EVERYTHING is new. They have tons of opportunity here. I admire what you do--I couldn't do it--you have to have a call--thank you for accepting it! God Bless!
Lucky (blessed) you, and Lucky 2nd graders. In 20 years of teaching, 2nd grade is the only grade I haven't taught.
