Day 33.
The weather actually felt a little like Fall weather today! It rained off and on all day. Plus, we went to my friend Sarah's house for a brunch, up in Yucca Valley and when we pulled up to her house it was 68*. I haven't felt the 60's since the end of last winter. It was pretty humid here today because of the rain, but it was nice to wear jeans and a 3/4 length sleeve shirt for a change.
This morning we went to my friend's house, as I mentioned earlier and it was lovely. It was so nice to see some of my friends that I haven't seen in a little while and to meet some new friends. The kids all enjoyed each other too! Sarah set up a breakfast Taco Bar....it was lovely. I bought a salad and there wan a multitude of other fun items that everyone else brought too!
After we finished up at Sarah's, we headed back home so that Madison could get ready for her private lesson with her coach to choreograph her floor routine. They ended up changing her music because her original song didn't get up beat until too late into the song and she only has 1 minute for this routine.
So, here is her complete floor routine, and this was the first time she performed the whole thing together with the music (she learned it in pieces)....she excited to practice it and perfect it as the weeks and months come leading up to our first meet in January.
After Madison's lesson, we came home and had our family movie night. The kids wanted to watch The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, but it's no longer on Netflix, so they picked Disney's The Three Amigos.
Earlier in the day, Alex sent us a funny video of all the camels crossing the street as he and his driver were trying to get back to his base. These camels are all wild and just EVERYWHERE.
The kids are in bed now and I'm going to get a little bit of work done and then sit down and enjoy some of my book.
Oh and PSA....if you've never tried the "Dark Chocolate Chip & Sea Salt Peanut Butter Perfect Bar" You need to find yourself one. I bought one to try and it was AMAZING!!!! It's gluten free, 20+ superfoods, 15 g Protein, Non-GMO. I let the kids each have a bite and they LOVED it too. You're welcome. ;)
