Busy Day

Today started our busiest week of the month! This whole week is half days due to parent/teacher conferences at school! Madison's conference time is tomorrow, but today, after school, we had Madison's pre-op appointment for her surgery! It went well and I feel much better now that I know everything that is going to be happening. Here is Madison's picture (she's a little nervous and was being ridiculously crazy at the Doctor's Office, but I still managed to snap a picture).

We had a fun, quiet evening after the doctor's appointment. We chose to stay in today, instead of going to the park, like we normally do. We had classical Christmas music playing, a candle burning and dinner cooking (Organic Top Sirloin Roast, Steamed Cauliflower, sauteed mushrooms, and Rice Pilaf). We read stories, played games, and just enjoyed each other's company. 

At bedtime, Madison wanted to sing a song for daddy. So, she chose to sing her newest song that she's been learning: Create In Me.... (I think it's too cute, but I might be just a tad biased)!
