The Start of Veteran's Day Weekend

This morning I volunteered in Madison's classroom. It is always so much fun to watch all of the kids. Today, Madison's teacher had a fun project for me to work on. I had fun in the work room, using the laminator, a hole punch, a glue stick and the paper cutter. :)

When I picked up Madison from school today, they had made flags for Veteran's Day! Madison was so excited about her flag. We hung it up in our kitchen. Below is a picture of her flag. Madison came home saying that we need to thank people like daddy for what they do for us and our country. It was pretty darn cute!

Being that today is Friday, it was pizza and movie night in our house and Madison requested Cinderella, so Cinderella it was (plus the bonus feature of Rapunzel and Eugene's wedding). Tonight the kids had an all cheese pizza for their half and I had a veggie pizza with mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers.

We had a fun evening together. After the movie was over we read a few stories and then everyone got ready for bed. Once the kiddos were in bed, Brittney came over and we hung out and had some good girl time :) So thankful for our friendship! :)
